We’re delighted to announce our major sponsorship of this year’s 2021 WKTV News Channel 2 Heart Telethon. And doubly excited that the broadcast will be from our offices!
That’s right, the telethon will be held at Scalzo, Zogby & Wittig, Inc., 120 Lomond Court, Utica on Thursday, March 11 from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
While we’ll be making our check presentation during the 7-8 PM hour, we hope you’ll tune in anytime that day on WKTV and make your contribution.
As with most everything during the last year, things will be a bit different. The Telethon and America’s Greatest Heart Run & Walk will take place at two different times.
The Heart Run & Walk is scheduled for Saturday, May 15, 2021. That’s a couple of months later than usual. The Heart Association is hoping for better weather in May, which means social distancing will be that much easier.
As the Heart Association says, “Heart walk has always been about coming together, getting hearts pumping, honoring survivors, raising lifesaving funds—and having fun along the way.”
We agree and that’s why we’ve participated in America’s Greatest Heart Run and Walk since 1993. The goal this year is $1,000,000 from the Utica area. We hope you’ll participate by calling in your donation during the Telethon.
When we say we’re your local agency, we mean we are a part of our community. Our support for the American Heart Association is just one example of how much we care about the Mohawk Valley. We’re in it for the long haul and want to help organizations that benefit all of us here in the Utica area.
