Introducing Our New Website
July 15, 2011
Your New Online Resource for Insurance Information, Advice, and Money Saving Tips
Welcome to our brand new website!
We think you’re going to like it because it’s packed with information you can actually use.
We’re especially happy to help you navigate the unique insurance challenges we all face living here in Central NY…things like harsh winters, NYS laws, and state specific coverages. We realize that as important as your insurance program is to your piece of mind, it can also get pretty confusing.
So we encourage you to bring your questions about insurance coverages, rating, and loss prevention to our site. Take advantage of it as a source for fresh, updated information including weekly blog posts. Tell your friends to join us here, too!
We have an FAQ page, and lots of valuable articles on insurance basics, safety, and easy ways to save money. And there’s a whole page of links to outside resources like the Insurance Information Institute, Highway Loss Data Institute, and OSHA.
Let’s take a quick walk through our site and sample some of the pages:
Personal Insurance
All about your auto, homeowners, and other personal lines policies. Deductibles, credits, and the discounts you can take advantage of to lower your premiums.
Commercial Insurance
If you own a business there’s info on commercial property and general liability policies, package policies, and NYS mandated coverages. And today’s risk management techniques from Emergency Management Programs and fire suppression systems to hiring sub-contractors.
Life Insurance
There’s a page on the differences between whole life, term insurance, and universal life. And, which is the best for you and how much you need.
The Agency
Just click About Us then The Team and you’ll find the person you’re looking for along with easy access to phone extensions and emails. There’s also a list of easy links to all of our insurance carriers.
You Can Keep Current on this Blog
We’ll be posting weekly (or more) with timely tips, news, and information written by members of our staff. Seasonal advice, changes in insurance laws, and answers to the coverage questions we’re hearing most often from clients are all here.
Some of the posts we’ve got planned cover topics such as:
- What you should do about insurance when renting a car on vacation.
- Business use of your vehicle.
- How your car is covered if you hit a deer.
- Claims that will not affect your rates.
So, since summer has FINALLY arrived, our first post next week will be about your insurance and renting a car on vacation.
Looking forward to speaking with you then,
Gary Scalzo and Steve Zogby
