No-Fault Insurance May Not Be What You Think It Is!

No-Fault Insurance is commonly thought to provide insurance when the “other” guy is at fault and not you. The name is a little misleading, however. Your policy will actually refer to it by a different and more accurate name, Personal Injury Protection, or PIP. PIP covers personal injury to the passengers of a vehicle, regardless as to who is at fault in an accident. This is where the term no-fault came from.

So, say you’re in an accident. Someone runs a red light and hits you, injuring yourself and a passenger in your car. YOUR insurance under Personal Injury Protection is actually going to pay for yours and your passenger’s injuries, not the person who ran the red light.

This is a coverage you do not want to skimp on, as it protects you and the people riding in your car with coverage in the event of ANY accident. And, higher limits are available at surprisingly low cost. Call us for a quote.
